Who you can sponsor
Family members
Spouse
Husband or wife, with an attested marriage certificate.
Children
Sons (usually up to 25) and unmarried daughters of any age.
Parents
Mother and father, subject to extra income and accommodation rules.
Sponsor requirements
- Valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID
- Monthly salary of at least AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 plus company accommodation [EDIT: confirm]
- Registered tenancy contract (Ejari) for suitable family housing
- Medical insurance for each family member
Checklist
Documents needed
- Sponsor's passport, residence visa and Emirates ID
- Salary certificate or employment contract
- Attested marriage certificate (for spouse)
- Attested birth certificates (for children)
- Passport copies and white-background photos of each family member
- Ejari tenancy contract and latest DEWA bill
- Medical insurance policy
Certificates issued outside the UAE must be attested in the home country and by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We can guide you through it.
